In April I attended Left Coast Crime in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This fan-based convention features authors from all over the U.S. The author panels were lively and fun. Attendees got free books stuffed into a lovely canvas bag to take home. And guess what? Have you entered my monthly contest? One lucky winner will get the bag. *Get to the bottom of this newsletter for your chance to win a neat prize from my travels.

The 2023 Left Coast Crime will be in Tucson, AZ and hosted by my chapter of Sisters in Crime and since I live near Tucson, I'll be there! If you’re interested in attending this wonderful convention, here’s the link.

In honor of Mother’s Day. It’s a Cherry Tucker short novella, A MOTHERLODE OF TROUBLE, that I wrote for an anthology. FREE for the month of May

A MOTHERLODE OF TROUBLE
A Cherry Tucker Short Mystery by Larissa Reinhart

When a cat dubbed Trouble shows more than curiosity in the house next door, Cherry also becomes intrigued with the goings-on of what seems more than a Mother’s Day reunion. Not only are the visitors packing heat, but it seems they're also smuggling stolen ice. The adage about curiosity and cats is proving true. Not only are the pistol-packin’ mamas prepared to put Cherry and Trouble in a permanent time-out, but they're also threatening Cherry's new niece. Can Cherry and her feline partner stop them?

* The Pig’n A Poke, a Finley Goodhart Crime Caper prequel for signing up (that’s always offered).
